You Must Create Autumn/Winter 2010 Collection

Fraser Moss and Jimmy Collins founded You Must Create (YMC) in 1995, in response to what they perceived as an increase in demand for stylish yet functional, modern clothing.

YMC seeks not to be influenced by seasonal trends but rather intelligent, wearable clothing that stands out from the rest.

The a/w 2010 collection has a strong traditional European feel with elements of the hunter, the fisher, the mariner, the artisan, and the peasant.

Included are modern variations of the Guernsey, Aaron, and Fairisle knits with a mix of heavy cords, coated and waxed wools, bonded cotton, and herringbone canvas.

For shirting there are flannel stripes, linen cotton ticking stripe, and pink chambray. Jersey wear includes feeder stripe, blanket striped fleece and indigo cotton.

Strong shapes for men include the shawl collared pea coat, Edwardian tailored jacket and pocketed fishing jacket.

Colours are black, navy, mid brown, marl grey, lifted with red, pink and off-white.
