Brazilian designer Marcelo Sommer was born 1967 in San Paolo, going on to study fashion at Central Saint Martins School of Arts and Design in London.After years of experience in the fashion industry, which he entered at the age of 18, Marcelo launched his first label, Mercado Mundo Mix, in 1995.
In conjunction with AMC Têxtil, Marcelo became the Creative Director of the brand Sommer in 2004 but he left the company in 2006 to pursue additional creative adventures.
Marcelo has been the recipient of numerous fashion awards.
Currently, he is the creative director of his new brand called Do Estilista.
